Welcome 2025 with a relaxed, family-friendly picnic celebration set under the leafy canopy of Cruickshank Reserve, right across the road from the Maylands Hotel.
This is a FREE community event – no bookings required for the park setting. However, if you’d like to dine inside the Maylands Hotel, bookings are advised.

Our New Year’s Eve Picnic Passport Party brings together global flavours, live music, family fun and a breezy community picnic vibe that feels effortlessly Maylands.
From 3pm to 9pm, wander between our global food stalls serving favourites from Italy, Spain, Vietnam, the UK and Australia. Spread out under the trees, enjoy the live music, and let the kids roam with games on the grass and free use of the tennis courts.
Some tables and chairs will be available, but we highly encourage BYO picnic rugs and chairs so you can claim your perfect spot for the afternoon.
